I'm a slacker

So I've been a total slacker recently and I know it.  But I'm pretty sure no one is reading or paying attention anyway, so it's all good lol.

Someone gifted Boog with an Elf on the Shelf a few years ago and he's been into it ever since.  Elf's name is Birdie and he comes out Thanksgiving night.  Now that there's a puppy in the house who has realized she can jump, I've been trying to keep Birdie in the bedroom and away from her.

Here are Birdie's escapades so far.

I'm really not sure what him and the TMNT were up to, but I'm sure it was no good.

It's that time of year again...

Yes, the creepy little guy is back...Meet Birdy, our Elf on the Shelf...

Day One:  Birdy appeared the day after Thanksgiving.  I think this was his hint that he's watching all of us lol.

Day Two: A "Birdy's" eye view?

Day Three: Just trying to shed a little light on the situation.  Boog never found him that day, so he stayed put.

Day Five:  Just a early morning reminder to behave...

Christmas Party

My part-time job had a children's Christmas party last weekend at a bowling alley.  All children up to age 12 were invited.  They had pizza, sodas, cake, goody bags, mini nerf footballs and all the kids got a gift.  It was pretty cool.















Boog was happy to be there and kept asking if it was his turn to bowl, so we got him some bowling shoes and gave it a go lol.  Luckily they had ramps for the kids to push the balls down, and had the gutter guards up.
















Then Santa showed up...and this is a child who won't talk to strangers, takes forever to warm up to new people and even people he hasn't seen in a while...Guess who RAN to Santa for a giant hug and even talked to him later about his "boo boo" - yeah, this kid lol...

And his gift was a tabletop electronic Spiderman pinball game!  Mommy just has to get batteries for the darn thing...but the good news is that he can still play with it without the batteries - it's just not as cool lol.

Boog fell asleep in the car and got carried into the house where he woke up briefly to ask me to snuggle and promptly fell back asleep for a couple hours.

Building Bridges...

That sounded like the best way to describe it really...

We went to my mom's house earlier this week so Boog could have yet another Krimmas lol...And it went really well...

Boog has really taken to my oldest sister and is doing the same with my mom...And I think my sister thinks he's awesome too...

He got a Leap Pad toy from her that he really likes, along with a pair of waterproof winter boots and some under britches lol...I'm hoping he needs the boots this winter - now that he's bigger and can actually play in the snow better.

He also got an awesome toy car set up from my uncle. It's a ramp that folds up with a handle, makes noise and comes with 2 cars...It seems to be a BIG hit with Boog.

Hi Nanas

We took Boog to see Santa and managed to get a good pic! Boog can't say Santa but says Nanas...So we're waiting in line and he's yelling Hi to Nanas and telling him C'mere and talking about all the Krimmas decorations...

Then it was our turn to talk to Santa - and things went downhill...Boog threw him self on the ground, rolled over and started crawling away as fast as possible...I picked him up and we walked over to Santa, who talked to him and gave him 5...

Boog wasn't thrilled with sitting on some stranger's lap, but we managed to finally get a good pic, Boog got a lollipop and all was well with the world again...
